- In East London you can do road runs in a wide range of different areas and on various terrains…including Canary Wharf , Epping Forest, the Lea Valley and Victoria Park. You can also train along theThames, even getting as far as Richmond. The local favourite run is probably the Greenway, a pedestrian and cycling route that runs roughly 5 miles from Victoria Park to Beckton and bang next to the fast developing Olympic Stadium and Olympic Village.

- - Newham Leisure Centre to and around Docklands (5 miles)
- - Stratford to Tower Bridge & back (approx 10 miles)
- - Stratford to St Paul 's, Millennium Bridge , Tower Bridge & back (12 miles)
- - Layton to Epping Forest (12-16 miles)
- - Stratford to Richmond (22 miles!!)
- - Greenway (Beckton to Victoria Park - various distances)
