About Us

Our club was established in 1992 and was originally called Newham Joggers, based at Woodside School. In 1994 we changed our name to East End Road Runners (EERR) and are now based at the Newham Leisure Centre, where we have exclusive use of the outdoor track on Tuesday evenings. We start gathering here every Tuesday at 6:45pm for coached track sessions until 8:00pm. Our secure club house is right next to the track and has changing facilities and toilets.

Though we are defined as a road running club, our main training sessions are held on the track within Newham Leisure Centre. The track has eight lanes and is made of modern synthetic material.

The nearest tube stations are Plaistow on the District line and Prince Regent ond the DLR. You can have a short jog to the EERR club from either stations. Buses to the club are: 147, 474

New members, aged 18+, of all levels are welcome, so why not come along on a Tuesday evening at around 7pm and try a track session or two!
